FOREWORD
Dear
reader:
Ushta!
I
have, in my writings and postings over the last 37 years, never attacked any
religion or person. I have risen in self defense and that too after several
obnoxious attacks. Yet I have been systematically under personal attacks for the
last 17 years. The attacks are made under the pretext of defending Traditional
Zoroastrianism. They are marked by false allegations. The attacks have their
fluctuations. They rise as soon as there is a special occasion -- FEZANA
elections, congress, conference or seminar. They drop, even disappear, when the
occasion ends to the satisfaction of the "leaders" who want to
perpetuate their "lead" over the simple laity. Various tactics are
used -- uproar, rumor-mongering, threats of boycott, withholding of helping
hands, delays through postponement of deciding meetings.
The
advent of the Word Zoroastrian Congress to be held in Houston made the
attacks rise, drop and rise with changing tactics. The reason: The attackers --
all the self-styled Traditionalists at the control of the Congress -- expected
or suspected that I would be one of the key speakers on the occasion. They
rushed with their now several-year old repetitive allegations to bar me. It
started a reaction they had never anticipated. The trouble started by them began
to badly trouble them in return. Since then the events have made the attacks
rise, drop and rise.
That
is why you see that the campaign has re-appeared in shape of what appears to be
"Protest Letters" by individuals with or without their family members.
A new tactic. They are being regularly "forwarded" as e-mails by
certain persons, one a Member of the Executive Board of the Congress. That shows
only one side of the problem – the Allegations. And this tactic is not only
misleading the laity but some of the elite.
This
has made me to think of presenting both sides of the coin – Allegations and
Facts – on my Internet Site. The Title is: The Plain Reality Behind The
